The Weight of Completion
If you’re feeling heavy right now, this is the Wood Snake completing her work.
The Wood Snake does not rush its endings.
This year was about slow growth, survival through patience, and learning how to bend without breaking.
Wood energy grows roots.
Snake energy sheds in silence.
Together, they asked you to:
Endure before you expand
Heal before you speak
Stabilize before you move
Learn who you were underneath survival
As this cycle winds down, it asks for one final action: release the skin you no longer need.
Signs the Shedding is Underway
You may feel:
More emotional than usual
Physically tired for no clear reason
Sensitive to people, noise, and obligation
Done with explaining yourself
Ready for something different – but not ready to move yet
This isn’t regression. This is completion.
Wood Snake energy does not rip things away.
She loosens them… until they fall off on their own.
The Shedding.
If things feel like they’re slipping right now, it’s because you’re not meant to carry them forward. What is loosening is not being taken from you – it is freeing what no longer fits.
As you shed this final skin, you do not step into the next version of you cautiously or guarded. You step forward carrying what you have learned - with steadiness in your heart and fire in your stride.
The Wood Snake taught you how to soften.
How to listen.
How to trust the quiet work of inward healing.
The Fire Horse now invites you outward -
to move and carry this new knowledge into motion.
The Threshold Ahead
The Fire Horse in Chinese Astrology, beginning February 2026, brings a very different energy.
The Fire Horse will push.
The question is not whether movement is coming…
It’s whether you will resist… or move willingly.
This threshold asks you to release:
People pleasing
Waiting for permission
Outdated roles
Fear disguised as practicality
Anything in your life built around endurance instead of joy
You don’t need to force the release.
Just stop holding on.
Rest.
Drink plenty of water.
Finish gently.
You can feel the heat.
The fire is coming soon.
The Wrap - Standing in the Threshold
We are standing in a threshold right now.
Between shedding and becoming.
Between who we were… and who we are ready to receive.
If you can, meet this moment with an open heart
and a willingness to stay present.
The Year of the Fire Horse holds extraordinary potential.
Not because we force it…
But because we are ready for it.
And until we connect again….
