Prelude: The Threshold Between Years - A short series for the time between finishing and beginning - when something has completed its work, but what comes next has not yet taken form.
A moment many experience as restlessness, anticipation, or a subtle sense of being held in place. Rather than rushing toward resolution, these reflections invite discernment and attention to:
• Timing
• What is still completing
• How movement becomes possible when wisdom is allowed to lead.
This is not about gaining more insight, but about readiness - so change, when it arrives, is substantial and real.
This first piece marks the final integration of the Snake before the Fire Horse's forward motion begins.
Opening: The Felt Threshold
Something is unfinished — and you can feel it.
Not urgently. Not loudly.
But quietly… like a low hum beneath your daily rhythm.
There is a subtle emotional density in the air — a sense that while momentum is building, something is still asking for your attention.
A pause.
A noticing.
A completion.
You may feel both ready to move forward and strangely tethered to something you cannot quite name.
This is the final coil of the Snake.
Where We Are Now
The Year of the Snake is still with us… quietly working… stretching into mid-February, when we officially step into the Year of the Fire Horse on February 17th.
These last few weeks carry a quiet intensity — an inward pull that asks us to pause long enough to notice what remains incomplete, even as we feel the rising spark of the Fire Horse’s hooves.
As her cycle comes to completion, the Snake does not rush her ending.
She lingers with intention, ensuring that nothing essential is left unexamined.
What the Snake Has Been Doing All Along
Throughout 2025, the ancient Snake energy guided us through a year of profound yet subtle internal transformation. For most, this energy did not produce noticeable outward change. It did not demand constant action or reward urgency.
Instead, it coiled.
And it waited.
During this waiting, layers of skin were shed. Long-avoided truths surfaced. What once felt familiar began to feel constricting. This refinement occurred quietly... often at a cellular level... reshaping identity, perception, and self-trust.
Illusions dissolved. Old narratives loosened their grip.
The Snake reminded us that this year was not about adding something new, but about releasing what no longer fits who we are becoming — physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
The Challenges That Shaped Us in 2025
Many of us were asked (sometimes deeply) to:
Shed things, places, and even people we once thought were essential for our survival
Soften and strengthen at the same time
Recognize that growth requires release
Keep showing up, even when we wanted to hibernate
Listen and respond rather than react
Let go without collapsing
Acknowledge that wisdom often arrives through quiet discomfort
Trust that releasing what no longer served would reveal something more aligned
Clear the historical debris stored in the nervous system
This was not passive work.
It was precise, often invisible, and deeply formative.
What Has Quietly Changed
As we entered 2026, we did so with a sharpened intuition and heightened sensitivity – more attuned to our own nervous systems than ever before.
Relationships, careers, and self-identities were quietly restructured. Much of this rewiring was irreversible.
While little may have appeared to change on the surface, foundational architecture beneath the surface has stabilized.
You are not who you were a year ago — even if you cannot yet fully articulate how.
The Final Coil: Sacred Integration
In these final weeks before mid-February, the Snake enters her last coil — a time of sacred integration.
This is a moment to pause and ask:
What skin is ready to be shed?
What version of me no longer fits?
What needs to be honored or forgiven before it can be released?
This completion is not optional.
It is essential preparation.
Why This Matters For The Fire Horse
The Snake has been inward and precise.
The Fire Horse will be outward and expansive.
The Fire Horse's speed, quiet courage, momentum, and truth require an unencumbered nervous system and body. Its movement is stabilized by the Snake’s slow detoxification of belief, identity, and emotional residue.
Without this preparation, Fire Horse energy dissipates and scatters rather than thrusting us forward.
Because of the Snake, discernment now replaces impulse.
Clarity replaces reaction.
Direction replaces confusion.

In these final weeks, you may observe:
Loose ends resurfacing, revealing themselves, and making one last appearance… not as threats, but as invitations to acknowledge how little power they hold
Direction replaces confusion
Old stories, fears, expectations, and patterns are losing their grip

Completion and endings without forced beginnings
