Part I: 2025’s Teachings, Offerings & Gifts - Grateful Endings for New Beginnings Series



HAVE YOU NOTICED?

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been seeing so much in my social media feed about 2025 being the Year of the Snake🐍 and 2026 being the Year of the Fire Horse🔥 🐎.  This sparked my curiosity... so I did a bit of research... resulting in the 1st Part in a series of 3. 

 

First, I’d like to address where we are coming from. 

 

2025 WAS THE YEAR OF THE SNAKE🐍 IN CHINESE ASTROLOGY.  The snake energies asked us to:

  • Shed what no longer was relevant or fit

  • Listen deeply and discover what was under the noise, habits and chaos

  • Break unfavorable habits

  • Release people from our lives, often suddenly, when there was no longer alignment and integrity

 

2025 REVEALED:

  • Where we were functioning on autopilot instead of curiosity, discovery, and the truth

  • True colors, which surfaced over and over and over again, until it was impossible not to see them... both ours and those of others'

  • Hidden agendas, which came to light because this year's frequency ensured that shady ones would be exposed

 

This was not a year of rushing into change, rather understanding why change was necessary.  Although 2025 was about protection, growth was not an option and happened quietly, sometimes in spite of us!  And we discovered that letting go was not an ending, but rather a preparation.  This year opened our eyes!

 

2025 WAS ABOUT:

  • Making room for the new, the pure, the real, the genuine

  • Shedding everything we were meant to leave behind to begin a new chapter

  • Taking care of us in ways we may not have known we needed

  • Requiring us to set a new, clean slate 

  • Clearing the snakes waiting to dim our brilliance 

     

The groundwork was laid for peace and justice.  And no more space was left for those who purposely seek avenues of destruction, harm, chaos.  Corruption was revealed and what was exposed can no longer be unseen. 

 

WE NOW HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO:

  • Avoid repeating the same mistakes

  • Appreciate the lessons learned

  • Trust the honed discernment we left 2025 with 

 

2025 TAUGHT US A LOT, QUIETLY, REQUIRING OUR ATTENTION TO RECOGNIZE AND LEARN:

  • We are stronger that we ever realized

  • We can fail and succeed, win and lose, laugh and cry... and not break

  • Resilience we didn’t know we had

  • Who was really there and what really mattered

  • Lessons we didn’t ask for but needed

  • Growth that came masked as discomfort

  • How to move differently when life doesn’t go as planned

  • The preparation necessary to step forward with courage and trust

 

THE ULTIMATE GIFT OF 2025 was that it prepared us to step forward with courage and trust, empowering us to be ready for:

  • New experiences

  • Unexpected miracles we don’t readily see

  • Blessings that are already on their way

  • Moving forward with gratitude because everything before has shaped us, even though it has definitely not been easy!

 

The journey continues as we close out 2025 with more courage and newfound belief, trusting that we’re leaving this year wiser, more settled, with clarity about what we won’t repeat or carry forward into 2026.

Thank you for showing success and failures, wins and losses, tears and laughter in 2025.  I welcome all the new experiences, miracles and blessings.  I'm grateful for all the good that’s on the way to me now in 2026.

 

THE WRAP:

2025 was not meant to be comfortable.  It was meant to clear what no longer belonged on your path.  And now… 2026 is arriving with momentum, movement, and choice.  You are not starting over.  You are moving forward – wiser, clearer, and ready to ride what’s next.

 

What I have shared here is only the prelude as the Snake energies of 2025 wind down, inviting in the Fire Horse energies of 2026.
