The Leo Full Moon, Aquarius Power, and the Geopolitical Turning Point of the Fire Horse Year

Reflections on the space where understanding gives way to timing—& change becomes real.

A Note on Intention

This reflection brings spiritual timing and geopolitical reality into direct conversation. It marks a new dimension in my writing – in the questions we are now being asked to face. Some of you will find it immediately resonant. Others may find its scope unfamiliar. Throughout, I offer grounded insight for navigating these energies at this pivotal moment.

My intention, as always, is clarity — not fear. Awareness — not agitation. Wisdom — not reaction.

Entering the Threshold

We are living through a period when the outer world feels increasingly dense with obstacles. Essential systems are strained. Narratives are fraying. Once-unquestioned authorities are being revealed as compromised, brittle, disconnected from the people they claim to serve, or openly contemptuous of them.

War is no longer an abstraction. Economic pressure is no longer theoretical. Many people now feel these forces in daily life.

If you are sensing that something fundamental is being tested, you are not paranoid. You are being perceptive.

Astrology does not predict events. It describes the atmosphere in which events unfold — the symbolic weather of meaning.

The Super Snow Full Moon of February 1st arrives with the Sun in Aquarius and the Moon in Leo, activating a timeless axis: between the tension of humanity as an ideal and the human being as a living, embodied soul.

In these crosshairs, their message is not subtle. They speak with unusual clarity about what is being asked of us, both inwardly and outwardly, at this moment in history.

The Moon in Leo – The Human Soul Requiring Expression

The Moon in Leo symbolizes the human soul, ready and waiting to be expressed.

Not a crowd.

Not a system.

Each individual soul – yours and mine.

Leo governs the courage to be seen, the willingness to speak from one’s center, and the refusal to live as a lesser version of oneself for the comfort of others.

Most people are trained out of this early. We learn what earns approval and what invites penalty.

We learn which “truths” are safe and which invite exclusion.

Over time, survival replaces authenticity. The soul retreats, waiting for permission to reveal its full glory.

This Full Moon does not grant permission. It requires expression.

It asks us to notice how often we silence ourselves out of fear of consequences—especially in environments where inner reflection is rare, and conformity is rewarded.

Some of the strongest pressures against authentic expression come from people who have never fully explored their own interior lives. Expression unsettles them because it reminds them of what was abandoned, and they want to punish it for doing so.

At this time, Leo is not about ego. It is about truth with heart.

The Sun in Aquarius – A Freight Train Entering a Tunnel

Opposite Leo, the Sun in Aquarius carries the energy of inevitability.

Like a train entering a tunnel, momentum has already been built. The route is set. There is little room for hesitation. There is no turning back, no gentle detour, no pause to renegotiate the terms or the route. The train does not ask permission from the mountain. It cuts through.

Aquarius is often idealized as humanitarian, visionary, and benevolent. It cares deeply about humanity — mainly in the abstract. It is ruthless toward anything that obstructs the future it believes must arrive. It prioritizes structural transformation over individual comfort.

As a result, the Aquarian seasons often feel cold, impersonal, and destabilizing, even when necessary.

At this moment, we are entering the tunnel—the threshold between the Snake and Fire Horse Years, leading up to Feb. 17th.

Artificial intelligence, geopolitical realignments, institutional fragility, and the exposure of systemic corruption are not isolated phenomena. They are expressions of the same accelerating force.

The old frameworks cannot keep up with the pace of what is arriving. Obstacles are being pierced—delays are dissolving. Polite negotiation is giving way to structural reckoning.

The shadow of Aquarius is detachment without accountability or responsibility. Innovation without soul. Change justified by abstraction.

This is where people start feeling like collateral damage in a spreadsheet.

The train does not pause for emotional comfort.

And yet…

The Super Moon in Leo returns the human soul to the horizon.

This is where we can breathe again…

Your Role in This – The Axis

Together, this Full Moon offers a fierce yet beautiful instruction.

Aquarius says: The tunnel must be entered. The obstacles will not move! The future will not wait!

Leo says: If you walk through this passage, you must do so as a whole human being. Not hollowed out. Not numbed out. Not reduced.

This is the risk, the challenge, and the promise of the moment:

If you surrender your soul to survive the transition, the future you arrive in will be efficient and lifeless (an AI-controlled world).
If you cling only to personal expression without acknowledging the collective shift underway, you risk losing relevance to the forces shaping reality.

The work is to cut through what no longer works without sacrificing the living core of who you are. To participate without becoming obedient, abstracted, or disconnected from your values, standards, and truth.

This Full Moon does not ask you to save the world. It asks you to remain human while the world is being reshaped.

What This Full Moon Asks of Us

We are being tested on two fronts:

Where are we avoiding necessary confrontation because it feels impersonal or overwhelming?
Where are we silencing our souls because honesty feels risky?

Aquarius demands courage without sentimentality – the ancient Viking energy.

Leo demands heart without apology – true goddess energy.

Together, they insist that the future is not built by compliant silence nor by performative outrage, but by people willing to move forward while speaking what is real from their equilibrated Middle Pillar.

The train has passed the threshold and is entering the tunnel. The soul is awake, waiting for expression.

You do not get to choose whether history is moving. You do not get to choose whether you arrive intact.

Choose with Understanding

Choose with Wisdom

Choose from the Heart of your Being.
